Alisha's initial foray into the Hindi music was through her album, Jadoo, the music for which was composed by Anu Malik. She also had another album titled Babydoll. She was introduced to the Hindi film music by the veteran music director and composer Bappi Lahiri. They had many disco hits together in many films in the 1980s including "Tarzan", Dance Dance, Commando, Guru, Love Love Love etc. When she started her career with him, she was doing playback singing for many actresses, such as Smita Patil, Mandakini, Sridevi, Juhi Chawla, Madhuri Dixit and Divya Bharati etc. In 1985, Alisha sang with Remo Fernandes in the album Old Goan Gold. The songs she sang in this album became very popular.

At the age when infants need lullabies to go to sleep, Alka was already lisping songs to entertain her parents. At 7 years of age, Alka Ajith had already achieved distinctions like singing in 10 languages, 500 plus stage performances, UNESCO gold medal, Rotary International award, etc.
Alka, who debuted on stage at the age of 2½ years, is a hit with the audiences of ‘ganamelas’, where she sings from her repertoire of 3000 songs. Alka has a family tradition of music. Her grandfather was a noted singer. Her father Ajith is a professional singer and keyboard player. Ajith’s brother Manoj is a guitarist with Yesudas’s troupe. Another uncle of her, Sudhir, is a member of the military orchestra.

Andrea Jeremiah (Tamil: ஆன்ட்ரியா ஜெரெமையா) is a Tamil playback singer, film actress and a model.
She has acted in a couple Kollywood films, most notably with R. Sarath Kumar in Pachaikili Muthucharam directed by Gautham Menon. She was moreover widely known as a notable singer and has sung popular Tamil songs composed by Harris Jayaraj (such as Kannum Kannum Nokia from Anniyan and Karka Karka in Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu) and Yuvan Shankar Raja (such as Oh Baby from Yaaradi Nee Mohini and the most recent Adada Vaa from Sarvam along legendary composer 'Maestro' Ilaiyaraaja. Reportedly, she has sung several songs in the upcoming Aayirathil Oruvan, in which she acts as well.

Antara Mitra managed to place fifth, and on March 7, 2006 was the last female remaining in Sony Entertainment Television's reality show Indian idol 2.
Antara Mitra is from Maslandpur, a small village in West Bengal, near Calcutta, India. She exhibited a keen interest in music early, and her father inspired her.

Anushka Manchanda is an Indian playback singer and was born on 11th February, 1985 in Delhi. She surged on the popularity chart when she became the winner of the Indian television talent show, Coke 5 Popstars in 2002. She was also a part of the first ever Indian girl band called Viva.
However, due to creative differences the band had to be broken and later she joined as a VJ (Video Jockey) with Channel (V) but only for a short duration of time.

One of the greatest playback singers in Bollywood history, Asha Bhosle has recorded over 10,000 songs for over 800 movies. Although every class (ghazals, pop, etc) of song was within her vocal range, her specialty was in sensual songs or Western-styled songs--she had an uncanny knack for making every actress for whom she sung, from Zeenat Aman to Urmila Matondkar, smolder on screen as never before.
Born on 8 September 1932, Asha, like her sister, the legendary Lata Mangeshkar, was trained by her father, Dinanath Mangeshkar, in classical music, and it was only a matter of time before she too turned to playback singing.

Chaitra holds a Bachelor of Engineering, specialised in Information Science and Engineering. She is skilled at Gymnastics and Fencing, at which she has been a state level champion for 3 years. She has represented Karnataka, at the national level, in more than 20 competitions and has won gold medals in both sports.
In 1993, at the age of 8, she was given the opportunity to sing for the film Beda Krishna Ranginata under the music direction of Manohar Sri. V. Manohar, which marked the beginning of Chaitra's career as a playback singer.

Charulatha Mani is an Indian playback singer and a carnatic music vocalist. More than playback singing, she has been more into the field of carnatic music where she survived for more than a decade. Charulatha has appeared for a number of TV shows and Radio programs in India and also around the world. She has made her voice recorded for various songs in Cds and DVDs albums. Her Isai Payanum aired in Jaya TV, deals with the Ragas, Brigas and Swarams in the Carnatic music and filmy music and this particular show of hers has completed for more than that of 80 episodes.
