P. Susheela or Pulapaka Susheela (Telugu: పి.సుశీల) (born November 13 1935) is an Indian playback singer. She has recorded several songs in many South Indian languages including Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, and Kannada. She is one of the greatest singers in the Indian cinema. Her career spanned for more than four decades.

Pop Shalini could not make to the finals, which however could not stand between her success which she was well acclaimed to owing to her very expertise, resourceful and multifaceted voice. Sunidhi Chauhan is one of the top female singers present in India. Her versatile singing securely stands herself against other singers like Alka Yagnik, Shreya Ghoshal and Alisha Chinoi. Sunidhi recently won a Filmfare award for a song 'Beedi Jalaayile' from film Omkara.
Sunidhi started singing from the very early age of four. Based in Delhi her family came to Mumbai to try her luck in playback singing. Sunidhi got her first break with the film Shastra. She sang the song 'Ladki Diwani' for the film. But the song didn't gain her an identity. Her breakthrough performance came with the film 'Mast'. The song 'Ruki Ruki Si Jindagi' from the film is one of her hits. It was composer Sandeep Chowtha's debut film which earned Sunidhi her first hit. Sunidhi later went on to sing for Sandeep Chowtha in Jungle. Later she sang in Vidhu Vinod Chpra's Mission Kashmir. Since then she never looked back and delivered many hits on her credit
Sunidhi didn't have any former training in Indian classical music, but now she is learning it improve her skills. Along with Indian music Sunidhi also like to listen Western music. Mariah Carey and Michael Jackson are her favorites.

She was born on June 1, 1929 as Fatima Rashid in Rawalpindi, British India, daughter to Jaddanbai and Uttamchand Mohanchand, a Hindu Mohyal Brahmin. Her mother was a well-known dancer, singer, actor, composer, and director. This is what paved the way for Fatima to become a child artiste (Baby Rani) as early as 1935. She is the sister of Bollywood actor, Anwar Hussain and Akhtar Hussain.
Nargis and Bollywood mega-star Raj Kapoor formed a reel romantic couple, but it is well known that they had an off-screen romance and intimate relationship as well, but Raj, who was already married to Krishna, refused to divorce his wife.

After playing the mother of Sunil Dutt, a Mohyal Brahmin also, from Jhelum, British India, in the movie 'Mother India', she subsequently married him on 11Mar58. She has three children from the Dutt marriage, namely Bollywood actor, Sanjay Dutt, and two daughters, Priya, and Anju. Her first daughter-in-law, Richa Sharma, Sanjay's first wife, passed away due to cancer. Her second daughter-in-law is Rhea Pillai, Sanjay's second wife, but they have since divorced. Her son suffers from insomnia, and has problems with drugs. He was jailed for terrorist activities during the now infamous Bombay Bomb Blast case of 1993, and he is now facing numerous criminal charges in India. Her daughter, Anju, is married to Bollywood actor, Kumar Gaurav, who is the son of actor Rajendra Kumar. Her husband went to become win a seat in the Indian Parliament, and after his passing, her daughter, Priya, has taken over from her dad. Sanjay's daughter's name is Trishala, while Anju's is Saachi, who is now being groomed to appear in movies.
Pancreatic cancer claimed Nargis on May 3, 1981 - ironically the same year her son first appeared in movies.
Nargis and her movies, (approximately 50) which spanned from 1935 through on to 1967, continue to be popular even now.

Her original name is Mona Singha who is a former Indian actress and the wife of Dev Anand and the mother of Suneil Anand. She was from Simla and she was a college beauty queen from simla. She was first seen in Guru Dutt's movie Baazi in 1951. She got the screen name Kalpana Kartik from Chetan during her career launch. in 1954 Mona and Dev got secretly married while they were on a break from shooting taxi driver. Her last movie was Nau Do Gyarah, because she wanted to quit and become a home maker.

Miscellaneous Info - Kalpana Mohan was born in Srinagar on July 18th, 1946. Her father, Avani Mohan, a freedom fighter, was close to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru and an active member of the All India Congress Committee. Kalpana, who trained in Kathak, was often invited by Nehru to dance at the Rashtrapati Bhavan whenever dignitaries visited.
She was spotted by actor Balraj Sahani and Urdu writer Ismat Chughtai, who encouraged her to come to Mumbai. Kalpana got her first break in the movie Professor in 1962. Kalpana had a brief but successful stint in Bollywood in the 60s, starring with actors like Dev Anand and Shammi Kapoor.
In 1967, she married a navy officer, but divorced him in 1972. She continued to live in Mumbai for a while but stopped acting, allegedly, depressed over the divorce.
Later, she moved to Kalyani Nagar, Pune when her health started deteriorating as doctors prescribed a change of climate.

She passed away on the morning of January 4, 2012 at the Poona Hospital and Research Centre. She was battling cancer for five years, and was being treated at Ruby Hall Clinic.

Dev Anand and Shammi Kapoor’s heroine Kalpana Mohan succumbed to cancer recently.Veteran actor Kalpana Mohan, who had starred opposite superstars Shammi Kapoor andDev Anand in her heydays in films such as Professor, Teen Deviyan and Tasveer, passed away on January 4, 2012. She was 65. According to newspaper reports, Kalpana suffered from cancer and had been admitted to the Poona Hospital and Research Centre in early December 2011 due to an attack of pneumonia.

Yesteryear actress Kalpana Mohan, who starred in movies such as Professor and Teen Deviyaan, died in Pune on the 4th of Jan after battling cancer for almost 5 years. The 65 year old actress was undergoing treatment at the Poona Hospital and Research Centre for a while now but breathed her last earlier this month.
Kalpana's daughter Preeti Mansukhani and son-in-law Harish were by her side. The family members didn't want to announce her death as a lot of people were eyeing her property.
Kalpana Mohan has worked with the likes of Shammi Kapoor and Dev Anand during the 60's and 70's.

Asin was born in Cochin, Kerala, India in the Malayalam-speaking Thottumkal family which consists of her businessman dad, Joseph, and mom, Dr. Seline, who practices in Ernakulam. She attended Naval Public School in Cochin, and after obtaining her Matriculation, was enrolled in St. Theresa's Higher Secondary School. After successfully obtaining her Higher Secondary School Certificate, she enrolled in St. Theresa's College to continue studying in the Arts Faculty. After obtaining a Degree in B.A. English Literature, she assisted her dad in his business (which includes software, export of furniture and antiques) and also took up modeling on the side. Her modeling assignments included Colgate Toothpaste, and Fairever Cream.
This exposure got her noticed and she made her debut on the tinsel screen through director Sathyan Anthikad's "Narendaran Makan" with Malayalyee actor Kunjachacko Boban.

Kalki was born to French parents in a small village in Pondicherry. Her parents had come to India as hippies in the 1970s and settled there after they fell in love with the country. Her parents are devotees of Sri Aurobindo.
Kalki was studying in Ooty when her parents insisted her to attend university. Kalki studied drama and theatre in Goldsmiths, University of London, where she also worked with a theatre company called Theatre of Relativity for two years. Kalki can speak Tamil, English and French while she had to learn Hindi to prepare for her role in Dev.D. Kalki was apprehensive about how people will judge her after seeing her in the role.
She won The Hindu metro playwright award 2009 along with Prashant Prakash for their co-authored entry 'Skeleton Woman.' She had also acted in the play "Hair" directed by Ajaykrishnan
